The Bearded Life: What We Talk About When We Talk About Talking to Animals

As I mention in the piece, I'm fairly positive that I peaked right out of the gate last spring with my contribution to the first "interview" issue of the Southern Minnesota Scene magazine, where I interviewed my exact doppelgänger, and then things get really weird and philosophical.

I really struggled with my column for this year's "interview" issue. I didn't really want to interview a person, and the idea of interviewing, or at least talking about talking to Annabell came to me pretty early on. I just wasn't sure what direction to take it. And I'm still not sure if I took it in the right direction, but it's online now for your reading enjoyment.
