Two weeks ago I went to see Ryan Adams in concert in St. Paul. In the past, when I've gone to a show, I've scrambled to put together a review to go up on here within the next day or two.

This time, I opted to do something different; this is a concert review, but like every #longread I put together for my Next Ten Words column, it's about a lot of other things too.
