The Penultimate Episode of Season Nine

 

Last year, in the eighth season of the podcast, I had invited my friend Alyssa onto the show—and for the last few months of 2022, she and I began slowly developing a pop culture podcast that we co-host which we launched in January, named A Reasonable Day. Between that show, and the conversation she and I had for her episode of this podcast, an old friend of hers, Lauren Neumann, had reached out and expressed interest in being a guest on the show, where talked about her pop-punk and emo roots and her experiences working across the street from First Avenue in downtown Minneapolis.
